Six contributors from the project \u2014 working across architectural history, anthropology, materials studies, labour history, and design pedagogy \u2014 have written a book that does two things at once: it lays out what the field of Production Studies is, and it shows what kind of writing the field can produce when its different lineages share a single page.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The book is organised around five propositions. We will publish each, in short form, here on the network in the months leading up to release. The first proposition \u2014 that the building site is a vantage, not a topic \u2014 drops in the next issue.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pre-orders open in the autumn through the publisher.
